About this Event
3rd of July Fun Run on beautiful Beech Mountain will allow you to run/ walk in the cool temperatures of Beech even during the summer months. Every participant will receive a shirt if registered before June 25th. After the race they can tie dye their shirt and enjoy the rest of the Parks & Rec's Celebration, including live music and a beer garden!
Course
Course will be a mix of trail and street starting at Buckeye Recreation Center.
T-Shirts
Since this is a Fun Run - you will get a white T-shirt with the Sparkler logo that you can Tie-Dye at our 4th of July Celebration for FREE!
Parking
Parking will be in Buckeye Recreation Center's Ball field. Please arrive early.
3rd of July Tailgate
There are many things happening on Beech Mountain for the July 4th Weekend. Buckeye will be throwing a party after the Sparkler 5k. The party will include live music featuring Ranford Almond, and a beer garden. Activities for kids, and later a Movie on the lawn. Movie is $20 per car.
Ranford Almond
Out of Greensboro, NC comes Ranford Almond, a young bard with a flare for songwriting and a voice impossible to forget. Ranford Almond will play from 6pm - 8pm and will knock your socks off.
